Surprisingly, robotic pool cleaners have actually existed since the early 1960s. These units are known as “robotic” since they contain motors, sensors, and chips.
When selecting a robotic pool cleaner, you need to choose between an above-ground or in-ground cleaner as they are quite different. Above-ground pools are cheaper and more portable, but they’re also less durable and stable than underground pools.
