Little Robot Shop is paid for by affiliate links. Here’s what that means, in plain words.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
How it works
Some links on this site are affiliate links, mostly to Amazon. If you click one and buy something, the store pays me a small commission. You pay exactly the same price as you would have anyway.
Links like these are marked as sponsored in the page’s code, and every page that has them says so near the top.
What it doesn’t change
- I don’t accept payment from brands to include or rank a product. No maker pays to be on a list, and no maker pays for a better spot on one.
- The commission doesn’t pick the robot. Amazon pays roughly the same percentage whichever robot you buy, so there’s no reason for me to push one over another. The robot that suits you best is the one that keeps you coming back.
- Live prices only come from the store. I don’t type Amazon prices into my pages, because they change. The product boxes show the current price; the text uses price bands like “under $300”.
Other programs
Now and then a page may link to a maker’s own store through its affiliate program, or mention a discount code. Those links follow the same rules, and a code is only listed while I can confirm it still works.
How I choose what to recommend
The whole method, including what I can and can’t check, is on the How I choose page.
